Register all teams by February 28th

Registration night will be held at the CRU on:

Thursday, February 23 from 5pm to 8pm

and

Friday, February 24 from 4:30 to 7pm

for ALL SARACENS.

The Saracen Executive would like to update all potential 2006 Saracen Rugby members in the new policy Rugby Alberta is implementing for the 2006 season.

In order to register a team (Men or Women), a club must have their players paid and registered FOR EACH DIVISION they want to play in by February 28, 2006.

So, what is the plan for the Saracens??

Registration night will be held at the CRU on Thursday, February 23, from 5 pm to 8 pm and Friday, February 24, from 4:30 pm to 7 pm for ALL SARACENS.

Those that are planning on playing this season must bring a payment of;

Option #1

$150 (cash or chq) AND a cheque post-dated for April 1, 2006 for the remaining amount (to be determined by February 15-unfortunately the CRU has not told it’s membership if they are increasing insurance costs yet)

Option #2

A cheque or cash for the total amount of Saracen dues (total amount will be determined by February 15)

Option #3

Your credit card-the transaction will be the entire dues payment (total amount will be determined by February 15) + $10 service charge.

By February 15, 2006 the dues for the season will be announced.

Please note: Unfortunately the Saracen Executive has had to put the decision of the total amount of dues on hold until we hear from the CRU regarding the costs of insurance and dues for the 2006 season.

The rates will be as follows;

Senior Member Dues-$ to be announced

(pay and register at the CRU)

  • playing for a senior division team

Student Member Dues-$ to be announced

(Please talk to the Saracen Executive prior to your registration. The CRU must be contacted by the Saracen VP Admin about your membership status prior to your registration-pay and register at the CRU) To be eligible for student member status, a player must;

  • be able to produce a valid student ID
  • be a full-time student
  • have been a student in the spring of 2006
  • be under the age of 25
  • work a minimum of 3 BINGOs during the 2006 Bingo season

Social Member Dues-$50

(please talk to Rhonda Williamson to get your Social Membership)

  • have hung up the boots

Please remember to bring your player ID card with you when you register.
