In the midst of our coaching troubles comes a blast of sunshine which should help ease our melancholy in losing yet another coach.

Good News!

Upon returning from my summer vacation (which was outstanding thank-you) I pilfered through what seemed to be an endless pile of bills. One particular envelope caught my attention. A letter from the government of Alberta addressed to Saracens Athletic Club Attn: Dan Amey. Well after the initial anxiety of receiving a letter from Ralph, I took a breath and opened it.......

Inside, much to my delight was a letter of congratulations from Alberta's minister of gaming, Ron Stevens indicating we have been approved for a non matching grant in the amount of $9,999.00 for the purchase of a scrum machine. I am sure you are all as excited as I am with this development. The investment of a new scrum machine with the aid of this grant will speak to increasing the level of Saracen Rugby for years to come.
